A little about me!
Enough about me...really....!
Thanks to Book Chick City for this meme that she found from another blogger so we are just rolling with it!
Hardback, trade paperback or mass market paperback?
Trade Paperbacks are my favorite. They are the perfect size.
Waterstones, Borders or Amazon?
Out of those 3 choices I would say I buy from Borders.
Bookmark or dog-ear?
Bookmark! Bookmark! Bookmark! Please, always use a bookmark.
Amazon or brick-and-mortar?
Brick and mortar by far. We need to keep these in business. There is nothing better than roaming the shelves.
Alphabetize by author, or alphabetize by title, or random?
I don't alphabetize at all. I try to put in order of what I have read, and haven't. I also do my size, Trades together, etc.
Keep, throw away, or sell?
I keep a lot. I do sell and recycle and get more. NEVER NEVER would I throw them away. that's just crazy talk.
Keep dust jacket or toss it?
I don't toss it. It's part of the package of the book.
Read with dust jacket or remove it?
I remove it because I don't want to damage it.
Short story or novel?
Novel. For some reason, I just don't get into short stories. I want to get completely involved with the characters and sometimes I associate that with length.
Harry Potter or Lemony Snicket?
Oh Harry...of course, Harry.
Buy or borrow?
Both. Having worked in bookstores I did buy a lot but I am a fan of libraries. They always can get ya what you need.
Buying choice: book reviews, recommendations, or browse?
All three. I sometimes just like the looks of a cover and go from there.
Tidy ending or cliffhanger?
It depends on my mood and the genre of book.
Morning reading, afternoon reading, or nighttime reading?
I have a 20 month old son so it's whenever I get a moment reading.
Stand-alone or series?
I'd rather read a really good stand alone. I do have a few series I follow and I do like when a new one comes out but sometimes I am too impatient to wait.
Favourite series?
Sue Grafton's alphabet mysteries. Victoria laurie's Ghost Hunting series. Harry Potter.
Favorite children’s book?
Where the Red Fern Grows, hands down. Cry my little heart out every time I read it.
Favourite YA book?
Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray.
Favorite book of which nobody else has heard?
Hmmm....I'm sure someone has heard of it but it's much older. Class Reunion by Rona Jaffe.
Favourite books read last year?
The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton. Little Bee by Chris Cleave. The Spellman Trilogy by Lisa Lutz.
Favourite books of all time?
oooh....Where the Red Fern Grows, The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield, Secret History by Donna Tartt, The Executioner's Song by Norman Mailer, The Pact by Jodi Picoult, Book of Lost Things by John Connolly, What I was by Meg Rosoff.
Favorite book to recommend to an 11-year-old?
Trixie Belden, baby. Trixie Belden.
Favorite book to re-read?
Where the red fern grow.s
Do you ever smell books?
No, I don't have a sense of smell ( i know, weird.) but I do pretend.
Do you ever read primary source documents like letters or diaries?
Memoirs but not diaries or letters.
What are you reading right now?
Impossible by Nancy Werlin. In the Woods by Tana French.
What are you reading next?
Hmmm, The Likeness by Tana French.
Pass it along to another.
Thanks for reading.

Cute idea. You now have 26 - and I accidentally followed myself also. But I thought it was ok, since that first week it was better to see 1 follower than 0.
You have to add me to your follower tally now! You have some great answers and between your's and Carolyn's post I'm going to have to do this sometime soon.
Wow...Trixie Belden! What a throwback. My mom loved those books when she was growing up. It was great reading about your likes and dislikes...this is a great way to get to know other readers!
I wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog and following me. I am now following you as well.
